Scrump - British - to steal apples.
During the past week I noticed in the early morning - dim light - a
couple of roundish objects on Sam's comforter behind the couch.
Fearing the worst, I investigated to find withered apples....not poop!
I tossed them outside but he grabbed one and pranced, tail waving
like a flag into the bedroom where he hid it on his other bed there!
Since then, I have watched him when we come in and he faithfully
goes to the comforter(bed) and deposits another apple in his little pile! When we are out on a walk, he will sometimes eat them but in the house he seems to be squirreling them away for the winter!!!! He also seems quite proud of himself.
He is also picking blackberries but eats them on the spoti
