Hello everyone,

Wish me luck as I start a new adventure as a portrait broker!

I'm self-employed and working with Portraits, Inc., America's foremost portrait gallery, representing nearly 200 nationally recognized portrait artists.

One of the owners was impressed with me and I was offered a position on the spot as an associate while working with her on commissioning an oil portrait of our daughter, Charlotte...back in June. I held off but loved the whole process of working with the artists, so here I am.

Check out their website, www.portraitsinc.com and of course, let me know if you want to get on my mailing list! Some of the artists specialize in animals too. You can see pet portraits under the gallery section.

Send me some positive vibes!

Thanks you guys!!! I'm excited to get started and just LOVE looking through the artists portfolios, getting familiar with them all. Can't wait for the unveiling of Charlotte's oil portrait.

What a wonderful opportunity for you, Sharon. I bet you'll be perfect for their needs.
You should treat yourself to a portrait of yourself. I don't think I've see such a lovely bride as I saw on your FB anniverary post, and more lovely as a mother!

Awww, thanks Tricia! I did some artistic modeling for a photographer in DC throughout my pregnancy with Sarah. I've considered maybe having one of those painted, honoring what it is to be a woman. One of my favorite mantras from my Kundalini practice that held true for me during that time and I think you would enjoy:

I am the light of my soul
I am bountiful
I am beautiful
I am bliss
I am , I AM

The essence of a woman: As a woman comes to know and love herself, radiance shines through to the outside, and we call her beautiful. As she grows to be compassionate not only of others but of herself, we call her bountiful. As she comes to experience the vastness of who she is and of what she is capable, we call her blissful.

What a wonderful opportunity for you, Sharon. I bet you'll be perfect for their needs.
