And with the help of some absolutely wonderful people and South Central Newfoundland Rescue, we are no longer Newf-less!!! It has been just over a month since we lost Ebony and it has been so empty here without a Newf. All is right with the world again!!!
Meet Phoebe!! (formerly Roxy) She is just about 2 yrs old and sweet as they come!! Her and Ross handled the 13+ hour car ride home like they have been riding together for years! Pheebs is doing good with the cats so far too!! She is a doll and I am so happy she is here!!!
Huge thanks to Rhonda B. for hooking us up with SCNR and to Leslie G. for keeping our girl for a night while we made the long drive! And of course BIG thanks to SCNR for matching us with such a wonderful girl!!!
She needs some grooming and a couple lessons in manners, but she is perfect!!!
These were taken after we got home around 3 am this morning...
With as much as she loves food and with as tall as she is we may have a counter surfer once she settles in... (our new house is still a work-in-progress...please ignore the lack of countertops! They should be installed in the next week or two. )
She is very velcro! Follows us everywhere. Mark was out in the garage and she was waiting for him to come back in.
Crashed!
These were taken after Mark and I got a couple hours of sleep and Phoebe got breakfast...
Do you see how LONG that ear hair is??? Incredible!
It was so great to see so many familiar faces at the NCNC regional also!! It had been far too long since I last saw some of you!! Sorry to those we didn't get a chance to catch up with...it was a LONG trip!
