I am so very sorry to hear this.

Just called the vet. Mudji has been "out of it" since the initial pain meds this morning. I've backed off the tramadol (with the vets okey) to see if that helps him. In some respects, he seemed better before the pain meds..

Crate is set up in the living room for him to sleep in. I don't want to have to worry about him trying to come upstairs at night. (He was my bed partner for much of the night every night.) And can't really have the baby gate up if Weezie decides she needs to come barreling downstairs in the middle of the night. Let's just hope he remembers that he likes sleeping in it. It's the huge one, so there is no lack of space for him.

Now, if there is something to help take care of the mom...
