Mudji Update

Well, just got home from the vet. News is not what any of us had hoped. Even the vet had hoped it was "just" a torn knee. Nope, xrays show osteosarcoma. Wow.. what a blow!

Still reeling from the pronouncement. My "love muffin"... bone cancer...

On to the next phase.. making him comfortable. I have already scheduled an appointment with another vet who does herbs and acupuncture. That's not for a couple of weeks, however, but hopefully there will be a cancellation and we will be able to get in earlier.

I also plan to continue with the "tonic" I've been giving him this week. I am hoping that it will help, even just a little.

Pretty sad for me at the moment... All good thoughts for Mudji's comfort are appreciated.

Hannah, I'm so sorry to hear about your baby--I can't imagine how heartbroken you must be. How old is mudji? Our prayers and thoughts are with you!

Mudji was born in November 2001, and I got him through Newf Net, sorta. He's a little over 9.

He's just had his first meds, and is resting from the "cocktail" this morning.
