The good news- he is home
The bad news- it took 2 more pints of blood last night for a total of 3. There is very definitely intestinal bleeding but slowly. This is apparently what caused the breathing problems and the heart issues. There will be a complete top to bottom endoscopy in Jan. Not sure if this will include another camera one- don't think so as you are awake for that. He was 2 points over qualifying for home oxygen so they are awaiting results of another sleep study to be done on Jan 8. Between now and then we are to talk with/see the Primary Care guy, the Pulmonary guy and the Endocrinologist.

If it weren't for our doctor appts. we would have no social like:(

best wish's, my mum suffers with bleeding polyps , so she has to take lots of iron.

she lost a lot of weight over the last year and it seems to have stabilised along with her diabetes

My best advice to you is to be sure to take care of yourself . . .good care of yourself, because he needs you a lot. Prayers and good wishes.

So glad he's home, but how scary! So hoping they Docs can figure out where the bleeding is, and stop it. Hugs and strength to both of you.
