Dog related injury

Well, unfortunately our household joins those with "dog related" injuries as of last nite; Patty was walking both boys with the "Y" lead, one thing lead to another, she got tangled, they got crazy, and she now has a broken wrist.
She ranks it in the top five most painful things she's ever experienced.
Wish her a speedy recovery!

I am so sorry! I have had two Newf injuries and the broken bone in the knee was awful. I can't imagine a broken wrist! It's awfully early in her Newf-life to have already suffered an injury. Maybe two separate leads from now on? I have never tried a Y one. Thanks, Mike, for letting us know. :hugs:

I hope she is feeling better soon! I am amazed how quickly they grow and how strong they are...my girl is 7 months and I cannot imagine the power of two boys!

Sorry to hear this. Broken bones are painful.

A friend of mine clonked heads with her Newf last week and ended up with a wicked concussion, confusion, and short term memory loss. After 2 normal CAT scans and a newly ordered MRI because of continuing problems, the doc. has taken away driving privileges and she can't work for a month. Be careful out there!

Drugs my girlfriend drugs--get plenty of them and you will enjoy the healing process. At least you tripped over your babies; Jazz was obediently pulling his cart next to me and I triped over me and broke my elbow.

Give the boys a one armed hug for me.

Ouch! That is going to make walking two dogs difficult for a while. I have found using two leashes to be easier/safer when I walk my two. I tried the Y lead and had a lot of tangles, but fortunately no broken bones. Hope her recovery will be speedy.
