Ok...My newest foster failure is a male landseer newfie. What a sweet, sweet boy he is; even after everything this poor boy has gone through in his short life. He will be 3 in Dec....Anyway...I am very adamant about changing his name. Nothing to drastic, as not to totally confuse him...

My new rescue boy has been on a taper of Prednisone. He will need to have lab work done for kidney and liver levels. How long should I wait to have this done? I was told if I did it to soon, it could give a false reading. Any ideas? Thanks, Chris

I was checking out the Petfinder website and there are several PB Newfs listed. Seems to be more and more showing up on the list lately. I will try and let the area newf rescues aware, if they are not already. It just breaks my heart to see them all..makes me wish I could take them all in! Chris
