Zoe needs your good thoughts and me your advice...

This is my beautiful rescue girl Zoe. She is not even quite 2 years (we think).
Tomorrow she goes sleepy-byes at the vets for a while to get her hips xrayed. She was shaved, in rough shape and had easty westy feet when I adopted her a bit more than a year ago. She totally shuffles her back feet....you can hear her coming with the shhhh...shhhhh....shhhh of her back feet when she walks. Sometimes she yelps and limps.

Please wish Zoe the best for her results tomorrow. I don't expect good news, but hope for the best of the bad or something that she can at least live comfortably with.

I know very little about hip/leg problems as it seems that Zoe just might be my first. I may be needing all your advice and help with this one, so that I understand this better (please use English ;)
I'll update when I get the news. Fingers crossed...
Thanks kindly everyone!

ZOE xo

Good luck sweetie xo

Definitely warm thoughts coming your way. There are so many products out there now that could alleviate her pain, natural too.

:hugs:Judy.. as someone who has a Newf with multiple orthopedic issues, I understand your concerns. I hope whatever it is can be easily managed.

A year ago today, my Thule underwent a double TPLO surgery on her knees... she is perfectly fine today. You're on the right track... diagnosis first and then you can decide on your course of action. Give Zoe big hugs and kisses from here!!!

Zoe sure is pretty! Best wishes to you today. A year ago Seamus had one knee repaired and he's having surgery for the other knee today. Then, I'm hoping he'll be good to go for several years to come. If you have any questions, just ask. There's tons of us on here who know what you're going through.
