:dance01::dance01: And I'm going to WORK with Mum, you know how us working dogs love our jobs! I'm going to the Nursing and Rehab Center where Mum works to spread some lovin's to my friends that can't get out and enjoy the snow.
I'm the unofficial Rehab Floor mascot, since I'm rehabing from my knee boo-boo. I go down to the exercise room and show them how much stonger they can get if they do their exercises, like me. My friend Ernie had a stroke and he likes to pet me with his weak hand. He's getting better at it and he's starting to talk more. He's says "oooh, LuLu, so soft." I give him lots of kisses when he talks to me.
Officer Bob loves doggie visits, he was a K-9 cop until he had a stroke, like Ernie. Bob likes to take me for little walks and pretend I'm his dog. I walk nice and slow for Officer Bob. Bob leans on me, I like that, so I lean back.
Today I have a special person to meet. Eileen is a nurse like Mum and she has Multiple Sclerosis. She fell and broke her hip last week. She's lonely and scared and she misses her pup. She's going to need some Newf-therapy, I'm the dog for THAT job. I'm coming, Eileen!
I'm wearing my special Boofday collar and I got all bathed and groomed Friday. I smell like lavender and cammomile. I hope I don't put everyone to sleep with my relaxing scent.
The staff will have party in the fancy lobby with a boofday cake and ICE CREAM for me! I'm ready....let's get this show on the road!
