It is 3:45 in the morning and like many of you, I can't sleep. Pennie, I am so sorry. Thank God Chelsea was with you. She knew the depth of your love. She felt warm, comforted, secure basking in the warmth of your and Jim's love. She crossed that Bridge knowing the intensity of love some never experience, feeling lifted by God alone knows how many candles, prayers, and veritable silken ribbons of positive thought woven by NNetters from all over the world to hold her up and sustain her. Now she is well, whole, and, most importantly, does not see through a glass darkly, but with perfect understanding. Her friends at the Bridge were legion from the moment she crossed - the spirits of our precious furkids must have known, had to know, how special she was.
You were her precious angel here on earth. God bless you and all who grieve Chelsea with the peace that passes understanding. Chelsea was a valiant spirit and brought out the best in so many people. I, too, am a better person for knowing this precious girl, and knowing all who loved her and stood by you. If memories of spirit, action, and happenstance make a trail for us in life as most think they do, this trail is lit by at least one million glowing candles of love and support. Candle light is fragile, but it illuminates much. Our hopes and prayers were fragile and, in the end, were not to be realized, but what a bright light they made. . still make. Godspeed precious Chelsea, and again, God bless you and those who love her.
