I hope Bojie feels better soon. My Cole has degenerative disc in his neck - IF he has a bad time the steriods work great and feels good quickly, So hopefully Bojie will too!

Meg, I just went through this with Avlon 2 months ago. Little wimpers and cries while moving her left rear leg. Took her to my vet and they did an exam with her. Moved her leg every which way and not a wimper. X-rays negative. They sent me to the Univ Of Penn Vet Hospital. Another exam on her leg nothing. They put pressure on her back and BINGO she let out her wimper. They took X-rays of her spine and everything was negative !! They think she pulled a muscle in her back. She had to rest for 30 days. Yes, 30 !!! It was hard for me to get home and not let her go out and play in the yard. I did though!! At the shore our home is on the water. She would look out the sliders to the bay wondering why she couldn't go for a swim. All and all after 30 days she was back to normal !! Oh, I forgot to mention, the day she was allowed to go back to full active Newf mode.....I was a nervous wreck thinking she was going to reinjure / hurt her self. The worrying never stops at least for me it doesn't. :)

I have a harness!!! Gentle Leader, slightly used but kind of on the big side for Ms. Lulu. It's a very sedate black/gray model. You are welcome to it. If you PM your address, I'm 2 miles from the major UPS terminal. I can overnight it to you.

Perhaps you could call Lupine here in New Hampshire. Maybe they have one or could make one and overnight to you. They are here in the town next door.

Hugs to your house, and hope all get the rest they need to get better.

Feel better Bojie! So nice that you have a neighbor that can stay with him. Make sure you rest enough yourself! He'll be back to normal in no time.

:hug:I hope he is ok,I know the worry, mickey keeps jumping up and he falls down alot ,I try not to let him but he does it when I walk him on the street or just out to go potty. He leaps up and I try to walk into it like my trainer suggested but it doesnt help. Its constant worry isnt it. You didnt do anything wrong and at least its something fixable, try to focus on that.

I used a Ruff Wear Harness on Benson when he was having issues with neck pain. It's very well built and puts no pressure on the neck area. It has several points of adjustments so you get a good fit. A large size worked for Benson and with adjustments on the straps, it's worked well for Glory and Henry.

It's also a very nice harness to use when they are swimming. It has a handle that you can grab onto just in case you need to help them out of the water.

Here's a website with pictures. Maybe you have a nearby store that carries this.

Hope the meds help Bojie start feeling better.
