Hi

I haven't posted on here in a long time, although I do still look at all the pics! My 8 year old (love of my life) newf Maya is really sick. It came on suddenly last night, she woke me and couldn't settle down. We took her to the vet school ER, and they hospitalized her with a high fever and inability to settle down. She is still there tonight, and no improvement. We visited her twice today, and its heartbreaking to see her, she is so different, her personality is gone and she seems miserable. They think she either has a bone infection, or cancer- we'll do more tests tomorrow. In the meantime she's on antibiotics tonight. I can't bear the house without her. Please send her good, strong thoughts and prayers.
