Rescue Newfie needs Good thoughts!

I don't normally do this, but as many of you know SCNRescue has been hit extremely hard with A LOT of Newfoundlands needing our help. Currently our numbers are very high and we just turned the corner on one boy, who is getting stronger but still has to undergo heartworm treatment when he's healthier, only to get in another boy that could use some very special prayers. Without going into the gory details of everything, suffice it to say his body mass has been graded a 3 of 9. (9 being optimum weight) He has been severely neglected and we're not sure he's going to make it. He's currently at one of our Vets offices on IV fluids and antibiotics. We're uncertain of a diagnosis at this time, but fear it could be Cancer of some sort, (still waiting tests) given some of his symptoms. He's only 4 years old and a sweet sweet boy. Please say a prayer for him and the others who need strength to realize their future is something to live for.

Thanks -

Good wishes and healing vibes sent from Florida. We have a boy like that here....basically a skeleton with fur. Praise be...he's starting to heal and we pray that your boy does too.

Sending all I have to send. I know how hard it is to do this but I still believe we can make a difference one animal at a time. Huge hugs to all of them and to you Susan for doing this and for trying to make a difference.
