I can't be away too long. This surgery was much more complicated.. Ironically I'm guessing because it was done right. His leg is swollen and red. I have been icing it. He is still on Tramadol, Metacam and tons of antibiotics, and it is still difficult to get him up and out ....but once he is actually on his feet I can generally support him with the sling. When he comes back in it takes him forever to get comfortable enough to sit then lay down.. He still hasn't gone potty # 2 but Dr says he will go when ready. He is eating, drinking and peeing .. and has generally been resting in the compound. A little restless the past hour.. But he is alert and is putting more weight on his leg... it is only day 2 so we will just pace ourselves. Love you guys for understanding, the support and caring..

It's so consuming to have your boy not up to speed yet, but this will all be worth it. We know you're tired, but you are such a good mom and he thanks you.

Sweet Murphy - it'll all be a distant memory before you know it. Get some more rest and listen to your mom. She's taking very good care of you.

Commander;

It's good to see that you are healing. I know it's tempting to pinch the Nurses, but refrain for now. Maybe later. We are rooting for your speedy recovery, so you can lead us to victory in the struggle against the evil CCO's.

Saluting You:
