this is my old girl Story...she is 13-14 years old, and has dementia. I hand feed her twice a day because she no longer knows how to eat on her own.

I have only had Story for 6-7 years. I adopted her from a breeder (the same breeder I got Dawson from). She has lived all over eastern US with me..amongst the Amish in PA, raising sheep in the foothills of the catskills, on a 200 acre wooded farm in the mountains of New England, and back to Ohio, where we first landed in a beautiful trailer park for elders (she and I both fit in!) and now in our lovely little house, Rose Cottage. She loves it here at RC. We have a great yard, really wonderful neighbors and lots of blocks to take walks around.

I will tell Max's story in Max's thread but he is doing ok...got the ok sign from the vet today!

Story is up on the couch, her head on my outstretched leg. I love this girl with my whole heart and soul. Thank you for your kind words about us!

hello she is lovely, have you tried liquidised food as my old JRT is fed this as has trouble chewing too much food, we pre soak all her dried and then add ham/chicken/beef, etc in and mush it up for her. works a treat
