Hi to everyone we met at Estes Park!
Bertrand, Saffron and I enjoyed meeting all of you at Estes Park and have been back several times to 'meet our buds again' but they don't understand why you're not all still at the dog park/beach swimming.....
I've had Newfs for over 25 years but still fall in love with them more every day. (I'd had Bassets for years, and then Bassets and Newfs - where the Bassets ruled everything the Newfs did, before switching soley to Newfs....)
As with any animals, I've endured my share of emergencies with Newfs, but have learned some tricks, so I look forward to sharing and hearing all of your experiences as well.
In the meantime, for the past couple months on the side, I've organized and been running a veterinary supply donation drive for shelters in the Gulf, to assist them with their massive overloads of turned in dogs/cats needing homes and health care. If anyone is a pilot and can assist with flying evacuation flights, to place these animals in various parts of the U.S., please let me know.
