Well I am on a waiting list with the city pound to look at a Male Newf that they have there! He is about 1 yr and 7 months. He is a bit "small" (65-70lbs) for a newf but they suspect he is a pure bred.
he is on hold right now for someone and there are 2 people ahead of me but I still have a chance. (a friend was on an adoption list and they went through 4 people before the dog was adopted)
I did want a young puppy for my first newf but something about his eyes just said please pick me. lol but don't they all?

Ill keep my fingers crossed that he is adopted and if He is meant to be mine then even better!!

Thanks everyone! I'm excited about the possibility but, I am firmly reminding myself that the chances of me getting him are slim. if I hadn't phoned and gotten on the list I would have driven myself nuts wondering lol.

I won't know for at least a week Id guess, it depends on the people before me.
I miscalculated his weight he is only supposed to be 55 lbs but that is awfully small he is smaller than my Shepherd Mix. The pic may be deceiving but he looks bigger than that. so I will have to just be patient and wait to see for myself. Really it doesn't matter if he is small or isn't pure bred. that face needs some loving! and well his coat needs some serious TLC.
