Please let me know if you get it, if it works well. I like the normal magic eraser and that looks like a great item...but I wonder how safe it is for them to walk on the surface after it has been cleaned. Ever since I heard about those alleged toxins in those Swiffer Wet jets and alike, I get nervous about using them.

from their site:
Are There Any Chemicals In The Magic Eraser Mop?

Type :Mr Clean FAQsNO – the material is a mild abrasive, that’s how it works. There are no chemicals in it.

I just can't decide - do I wait for my wrist to heal, or let the best spouse in the world try it first?!

Thanks for the info! Now if I see it, I'm going to buy it. If anyone gets it first, please let us know your thoughts once you've used it.

I use a regular magic eraser on my grout, but I asked Santa for a steam mop-I can't imagine using a magic eraser on a stick would be easy!

I have the Magic Eraser Mop. It works great on the tough spots on the floors that you usually have to work at for awhile. It says "rinses clean after each use"...sure, and disintegrates a little bit each time. Also, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE EVERY STRAND OF NEWFIE HAIR OFF THE FLOOR FIRST. Or it turns into a nasty crusted glue ball of newfie hair at the front of the mop...that you can pick some of off with your fingers at the cost of removing chunks of the mop. I should take a picture of the bottom of my magic eraser mop....but I don't want to gross anybody out. I'm going to wait for the next miracle product....

NEW? I've used one for quite some time - since early spring. I like it. I use vinegar and my floors get clean. One thing is it does not last real long. Of course I mop my family room and kitchen twice weekly so no mop lasts too long.

I'm with Nessa, looking for a deal on a steam mop. Friend with 2 dogs (Spinone Italiano and some kind of coonhound) says they're wonderful.

I'm confused. Are you asking if this is a new item or are you saying it is not a new item?

In any case, nothing has worked on my grout when my Newf has slobbered on it. Now, if it is other gunk, I use a steam mop thing.

I actually have this. It does a great job on our kitchen floor. It gets all the dirt and scuff marks out that a regular mop does not. The only issue I have with it is that it does not absorb a lot of the dirty water and I end up taking a towel and quickly wiping the floor down afterwards.

I've gone through 2 of the Shark steam mops. They do a wonderful job, but I keep breaking the handles.

Too good to be true.
For the tile & grout we use 2 items;
1. a scrubber machine that also dispenses cleaner, it is heavy & gets the dirt loose,
2. the Hoover mate that sucks up the liquid mess..

if the dirt is too built up, use one of the laborers for the day & fantastic spray & a strong bristle brush, this is not as hard as it seems.
Tile floors must be sealed yearly, then they will clean up easier.

Can I borrow one of your laborers?! My grout is a mess!

Sheila, around here there are lots of men who stand near major intersections or by the local train station and wait for folks to pick them up for day labor, off the books, cash-only. They dress for just about anything, since they do not know if they will be indoors or working outside doing landscape stuff.

But if you don't have laborers of that sort, you can always hire a cleaning service like Stanley Steamer or The Maids!

I'll check Stanley or Sears! The guys that stand around at intersections here just want a handout...God forbid they actually have to work for it!

I looked at the Bissell Steam mop....looks much hardier than the Shark. May have to get one after the Christmas rush.
