I just wanted to show how much Claire is like Sawyer, Triton and General never sit and look out the window like this. Sawyer is on the left and Claire is on the right.

*This is just one of the MANY things she does JUST like Sawyer did.

Call me crazy, but I truly believe that every rescued dog that I've loved and lost has sent me my next buddy. I rescued them, in turn they rescued me. I believe that Sawyer had a paw in sending you Claire, I'm not suprised at all that you see alot of similar behavior.

Yes..... I love it. I sometimes think that our Heart dogs leave a "map' For other dogs to take up where they left off. That is what I think my Abbey did for Katy.

Love the pics, I believe they "live on" in that way :)

Oh I understand entirely. When we lost our Coco, I was at a loss, when we got Buttons for Mom, she did a lot of things that Coco did, and I swear Coco sent Buttons to us. Good for you! Dog works in sometimes strange ways.

I couldn't agree more! I had a white boxer whom I saved from being killed by her breeder when she was born. She had a bad heart and died way too young. I was devastated, as she was just so full of personality and life. I'd swear she sent the white male I have now. Like her, he loves broccolli and spinach. Also like her, he loves his toys and could not care less about guarding anyone or anything. She HATED giving paw, which most dogs don't mind doing. This guy just won't do it unless I really beg...it is amazing and eerie.

Absolutely. Our spirit dogs knows it takes another dog to heal a broken heart.
