A lady I work with has a neighbor that has 2 children, ages 10 and 11 plus a 14 month old Newfie/Great Pry mix dog named Elvis. Long story short, the kids were playing in the house with a bunch of other kids. They came barreling up from the basement, knocked over the Newfie (named Elvis)...

Good thing I'm so easy going...Willow chewed up my glasses. They we on the end table while I was laying on the couch and fell asleep. Now I can't find one of the lenses. Grrrrrrrr..puppies are over-rated. I certainly can't imagine her swallowing the missing lens??

Did your puppies have long hair? I was a puppy class last night when a man with a male newf asked me if I shaved Willow? His puppy at 11 weeks has long fluffy hair. Willow's is rather short and not fluffy at all, except on her head. Got me wondering if hers will grow out eventually.

We had 12" here in beautiful Oconomowoc, WI overnight. It's hard to photograph a black dog against all that white. Especially when she won't "pose" nicely.

The breeder I purchased Willow from had her on Iams Large Breed puppy food. When the dog food scare happened last year, I did a lot of research into the commercial dog foods and was not impressed with what I found out about Iams. So while doing the research for a new food, Origen large breed...
