We have been blessed with our beloved sweetheart Boog for a year now. As he entered our hearts and lives at 24 months old, he is now a 3 year old. Happy Birthday our gentle giant.

After noticing how miserable looked in the heat, the DH took Boog to the groomer and had him shaved, along with our plushcoat GSD, Rex. We shave Rex every summer to help him stay cool. This is our first summer with Boog as he joined the family in October. The DIL to be, who seems to know more...

Help!!! We have a Digger. Boog has totally destroyed the yard. The grass is trying to grow, spring is on its way and we look like we have been attacked by grenades. Anyone else encountered this problem and know how to correct it? I haven't a clue, except to tell him no when he starts.

When Boog arrived, he had bad infections in both ears and a mast cell growth in one. We put drops in his ears twice a day and earwash twice a week and had the growth removed and he seemed well. Now he is shaking his head again, like he has an ear infection back. I know he'll probably need...

We found Boog in horrible shape, with ear infections, a mast cell growth in one of them and matted, tangled fur. This is Boog at first. He weighed in the low 80's. October of 2009. Boog is now healthy, happy, his infections gone, his growth removed, his coat groomed, weighing in at 146 lbs...

Another peculiar thing Boog does is rips little hunks of grass out of the ground and tosses it. He likes to dig, too, which is a dog thing, but the grass thing is out of my experience. What is he looking for?

Boog likes to sleep elevated, if only a bit, with legs and tail hanging off. Is this a Newfie trait or simply a Boog habit? I can picture him sleeping in a tree and not falling off. It makes him look like a very large cat.

Having trouble with Boog howling at night, keeping the family up, esp my oldest son, who is the closest to him in proximity. Any suggestions?
