Hanging off of things

Boog likes to sleep elevated, if only a bit, with legs and tail hanging off. Is this a Newfie trait or simply a Boog habit?

I can picture him sleeping in a tree and not falling off. It makes him look like a very large cat.

Well when Wash is on the couch his legs usually hang off, I think that has more to do with the couch isnt deep enough for both body and legs to be comfortably on it more than anything else.

Our newf Abbey slept in a low hammock, she loved it......She even used to make it swing. And was most put out, when we wanted to use it :)

My first newfy had a 6" high orthopedic bed to help with arthritis/hip dysplasia. Amazingly he actually used it, but much of the time he slept with his head hanging off onto the floor. Didn't look too comfy to me.

Yup, both my guys are doing that now. It's not like they need a bigger bed!

My 2 newfs just want to sleep on the floor, only Mickey sleeps in the bed, with parts of him hanging off at times.
