What a difference...

:allg069: What a difference a year makes! The first few are from when Phoenix first came to us last October - he was just shy of a year old, and scared of his own shadow. Getting him out of his crate was a chore - he wouldn't budge to save his soul. He was afraid of everything and everyone. We've worked hard with him in the past year - LOTS of love and patience and the following sequence was taken a couple of weeks ago.. I came home from my part time job at the SPCA to find my brother over for a visit and Pheney actually joining him on the couch! It doesn't hurt that Uncle Gary always comes to visit with biscuits in his pockets for the kids. He's my boy and I'm loving what he's very slowly becoming - he's the first to greet me when I come home, he joins me in bed in the morning for a quick cuddle before breakfast, he's talking to everyone and learning so much so fast now that he's relaxed a little. Some things still make him nervous (like my son, who's over 6 ft tall and tends to be a little loud and move just a little too fast) but this to shall pass. Please forgive the blurriness.... he still doesn't like the camera and tries to move away so it truly is point and click on the fly with him!
