Just got a call from Nor Cal Newf Rescue. We are getting a cinnamon female newf. She is out of Reno. She is about a 125 lbs is very sweet and has a nice coat. I understand that she has no manners. This will be our third foster Newf with no manners. NCNR likes to give us the challenging ones. We must be doing something right I guess. I have not seen pictures of her yet. We are excited to have her in our home. I hope that she and Noche get along well. This will be our frist female foster. Noche just LOVED the boys. I get the honor of naming the girl. Any ideas for a cute cinnamon newf?

 I know that feeling, we always get offered the aggressive newfs for adoption.........It is sort of a compliment, But..........

It is great as to what you are doing, bless you for being a foster. You are doing an awesome job, Ronnie

As to a name, what about just Cinnamon

You must be so excited! How about Amber, Sienna, Ginger, Hazel, Taffy or CoCo?
Ooh, I second Sienna! Good luck with the lucky girl! (Maybe I should send you River for a bit. Sometimes she 'forgets' her manners) Can't wait to hear what you call her!

I saw her on the shelter website and contacted them right before she was picked up. She sure did look like a cutie. I personally like Hazel or Meg (nutmeg). I tend to like people names though. Good luck!

Cinammon is Cannelle is French. Kaneli is Finnish. Cannella is Italian - I love this! Canela is Portugese.

Brown in Italian is Rosalare.

Before we knew Elvis was a black Newf, I thought about naming a brown one "Grizzly". However for a girl with no manners, that may not be a good idea!

Cinnabon? Honeynut? Cadbury? Kona? Bailey(s)? Half-caff no fat no whip vanilla latte? Reese? Rolo?

or go another way -

Emily Post? Missy? Princess? Something regal and refined!

I love Kahlua! Or Tawny.

Bucca is Celtic Another brownie like spirit that originally has beneficial overtones helping fishermen (as Buccas are associated with the sea) and insuring fertility among fish. Later they took on evil overtones and were used menacingly by parents as a sort of boogy man.

Anuva -- Russian, means A new Beginning
Kira -- Russian, means Sunshine or sun

could also go with Spice -- cinnamon is a spice, right? could fit a "spicey" girl who needs work on manners. :)
