Prayers for Pooka

My first thought is pericardial effusion caused by something he inhaled or swallowed. With his lar par is it possible he sucked something down "the wrong way" and a tiny bit of something has triggered an infection in the chest.
If this is the case it would most likely be fluid in the chest, not just air. Were they able to aspirate anything?
Will light a candle for Pooka to guide him safely through the night. Continued prayers coming from here........................

Sending love to Pooka.

Oh no, not that there ever is a good time to have this ... but this is NOT a good time.

Late pregnancy, super hot / humid weather .... please try to keep yourself hydrated, in air conditioning and calm, if that is possible.

When I was carrying my first pregnancy in the hottest August in years ... one of the midwives gave me special permission to wear NO underwear under my cotton dresses. ;-P

Please, you and Pooks, and Rhys, stay well.

Pooka bear! I hate that I can't meet you at the vet hospital! I know this mustve been a fluke virus and he'll be home bright and early tomorrow. You've done every single test under the sun if something big was happening you'd know by now. Rest and fluids will flush this bug out! I know it!

Does he get hotspots or anything? I had this happen last summer with Nik, and the only thing they could come to was that he had a blood infection. 24 hours later on antibiotics he was remarkably, amazingly, pretty much normal. The fever scared the hell out of me because he went from being normal in the morning to depressed and uncomfortable and high fever by nighttime..

Fever is down to the mid-high 102's. He's doing better. Dr. Trotter said not to worry tonight.
