So glad you posted the entire sequence of events, Nessa. Educational and a very celebratory outcome! (Haagen Dazs toast here)
Leska, if you'd like to read the ENTIRE saga from start to very finish, (because I didn't actually post the whole sequence of events here), I wrote it all down on zee blog. The post starts off as my 37 week doctor's check up and then I get into Pooka's illness a few paragraphs down.

OH MY GOSH! I just read your blog through tears, Nessa. I'm SO happy to know Pooka has made such good recovery process. Now (God willing) the stars are aligned and everything is right for Pooka and Nanook too to become nannys/big brothers. Hugs all around for two legged and four legged in your household.

Glad to hear Pooka is back! Did you ever get a definitive diagnosis?
No. All we know is that whatever it is, it's responding to clavamox. I could tell you a very long list of things that it is NOT though. Hah!

Holy smokes, Nessa!
I was away for the last week and didn't have access to NN, so I didn't see this was going on. I can only offer back-dated prayers and relief that he is doing so much better! That must have been terrifying! I have a giant bottle of Veuve in my outside fridge, which I happily offer for when you can celebrate with the bubbly!
