Prayers for Owen,

Hi Friends,
Tomorrow morning I make a 2 hour trip to take Owen in for his surgery. It is a trip I have dreaded and tried my best NOT to have to make. BUT.. trying to ensure a bright and happy future this is what needs to be done. He will undergo his ACL surgery about 1:30, and I will travel back home as soon as I hear things are OK. If all goes well I will go back to get him on Tues. after 2:00. I have his recouperation indoor kennel built in the family room it is 4X6 with a door padded floor, his comforter, his bed and a roof top in order he does not try to jump up. He will need to walk straight to the deck door and down a 3 inch step to the yard. I am more than a little nervous, bleary eyed, and very sad that I will need to leave him. Wish us luck... I have heard way too many sad endings recently due to anesthesia... I am so happy Giddy posted such GOOD NEWS about AHNZLO... Hope Owen does as well. THANKS

Thoughts and prayers for the surgery today. I'm sure once he's recovered he'll be much happier that he can run around without pain.

I had my lab done 4 years ago and he's never had a problem since and before he couldn't even run for a ball 1 time without limping for days, he'll be much better off in the long run!
