I am sorry for your loss. Don't be too hard on yourself. We do the best we can for our angels.. I too am struggling with the inevitable toll my Murph's disease will take on him and knowing when the time is right. My deepest condolences.

so sorry for your loss, dont feel too guilty, I had one dog who came home after tests and yet by the morning he had passed on. Its always easy to second guess and hindsight is a wonderful thing .

I'm so sorry. I hope you aren't beating yourself up for this. You gave the last and kindest gift you could give to Lucky. She was lucky to have you.

You had hope the meds would give her some relief. Had you not tried that, you may have second guessed yourself in that respect. It's such a hard decision, but in the end, it is, indeed, a gift. We know how you feel... :hugs:

Godspeed dear Lucky.

She passed a couple of hours ago...her breathing was so lab ored, she became very cyanotic, would/could not move. my daughter and her ex boyfriend and my best friend came and helped me move her to the ex's car and the vet met us at the office and put her to sleep in the car. She was so ready, she was exhausted. I will miss her so much. I should have done it this afternoon, she was really suffering this evening and I feel so bad that I had not anticipated this rapid deterioration. She was so wonderful, smart and loving and everything a newf should be.
I so know how you feel, but hindsight is always perfect. She had love and caring till the end. And that matters more then anything else. And i am sure she felt that love. Now she can run free with all our Angels at Rainbow Bridge.
For you this will be a sad time.....I am so sorry for your loss, I hope that soon you will be able to think of her with a smile again.
:hugs: :hugs: Ronnie

I am very upset, wondering if there was something that could have been done for our sweet Rhayni. Try not to be too hard on yourself.......I understand your grief. Kim

You did the asolute best you knew at the time. Know that for certain. I am so sorry, so so sorry. She has a welcoming committee at the Bridge, and in my beliefs, you will see her again someday. God bless you.
