It breaks my heart to hear of another of our special pups going to the bridge. It's especially painful when they are so young. Rest well Mojo.

I am so sad to hear of the loss of another Newf. May his memory live on in your heart and in the wonderful puppies that he help create.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. He was a beautiful boy, gone way too soon. How nice it is that you have a son from him.

Thank you Mary K, Bea and Imfoltyn. He was so energetic that I am sure he is running free. Any time he could get out on his own, he did run free. So the Rainbow Bridge is perfect for my crate breaker (can you say he cost me $1000 in crates and another $1000 in a new unbreakable Alcatraz) LOL. That was better than him impaling himself on the spokes on the corner of the crate trying to back up when he couldn't go forward. My son rescued him at 4AM on his way to work. Mojo was always a free spirit and his son Jetro is just like him. He is likely to inherit the Alcatraz crate in the near future.

According to the autopsy it was stress and the humidity more than the heat. He is up on a mountain, so the temp isn't bad but the humidity everywhere is really unreal. He started the day by breeding to a bitch and was fine, and then, boom, gone. I guess I can only say, it is what it is. <heavy sigh>
