Thanks, Charlie and Louise. I was to pick him up in mid-August when I go up to help whelp his next litter (due 8/11 - 8/14. Autopsy is to determine that it wasn't anything that might effect the puppies. This will be his 3rd litter on the ground and 2 more possible coming. We know tomorrow on one of those two. I have his puppy Jetro, who is just like him in so many ways, which is a comfort.
