My heart breaks for you, your family and for Sully. I just don't know what I can say other than please post regularly with us so we can keep up with you and help you get along.

That just made me tear up. So sorry to read of the sudden loss of your husband.

I always thought that if either Mom or I passed away before Snuffles, I would want him to see/sniff the dead body. The clothing idea is a good idea and will keep that in the back of my mind. Sure glad Sully has closure and new bonds.

I agree with you Leonard, I thought the same thing, but it didn't happen at home. Sully still is not looking for Mike, and in the past he would have never given up. He really took his nose and rooted that sweatshirt around, and really smelled it, so I truly do believe he knew.
