because he's lacking a bit in intelligence.

Quinn follows me from room to room nearly all day. This morning I was collecting laundry and slid down the back stairway without him noticing. As I am putting clothes in the machine I hear him barking/whining/crying and can't figure out why he doesn't just go down the front stairs and find me. I go up to look for him and finally find him in my daughter's room. This is a room with two doors. I'm looking through the open door at him sitting and staring at the closed door in front of him.

I freed him from this horrible entrapment through the door which had been open all along!

That reminds me of when Elvis was about 2 years old. He was sleeping, naturally, in the living room when the sound of music came on tv. well, when julie andrews came flying up the side of the hill, he jumped up and started barking like a loon at the tv. When she went back down the other side, he goes looking for her behind the tv. Nope she wasnt there. Went looking for her in the dining room, barking all the time. Not there either. To this day, it doesnt matter what part of the movie comes on, once he hears her singing he starts barking and frantically looking for her. What a riot! Cant watch that movie anymore!

Katy also gets the occasional "where are you woo woo's" going. She just looses the rest of her pack, even though we are close

This afternoon he had another "Quinn" moment at the barn. He hasn't had much exposure yet, so he keeps barking at the horses. Well after a long trail walk he started sniffing around the barn and then wandered into the paddock area which has electric fencing. There was only one horse in there, quite a distance off. Quinn somehow manages to get himself shocked, and is convinced the horse did it. He got all riled up, barking incessantly at the poor horse who is still off quite a distance. Silly not so bright Quinn.

We can't watch Animal Planet in this house. Mudji goes after cartoons as well as 4 legged critters on tv. He also has taken to barking at the computer when I am trying to watch the ever important newf videos. Barks like a madman. Luckily the new mac is at the back of the desktop so he can't slime it too much!

Moonlight, as a puppy, used to try to get behind the TV to "find" whatever went off screen. She still loves to watch TV, and not only animals. She has stood and growled a "bad guys" and licked the screen when there are sad children, and she likes most action movies. We just never know what will catch and hold her attention, but she will watch the whole show.

Kilrain won't go past where the baby gate usually sits until I tell him it's OK even though he just heard me walk through with no problems and he still feels ahead to make extra sure. Get him outside and let him get off leash though and the blind dog happily heads up the street!
