After he told me he'd put his dog to sleep by feeding him 'enough medication to kill a horse' and leaving him in the yard.
"Took him till 'bout 3 am before he died," he said...
This same man had ALL his guns taken away after he was caught shooting at the neighborhood cats. One cat survived, but lost it's leg.

The only reason some people are alive is because it's illegal to KILL THEM!

Can you tell the authorities what he did. They can do tests to see how the dog died. That should be cruelity to animals.

You would think between this incident and the shooting cats incident he would be locked up. Both of those things are illegal

The fury for vengence..boils..and yet..we look around us..each in our local neighborhoods..and ..may make an educated guess..as to those who would do that, or..something similar..around us. We are not all born equal in ability..nor coping skills. We can hate the 'action'..and yet..force ourselves to imagine that..and the other known activitys he may be know for, or suspected of..and 'see'..his assorted abilitys. Emotive, life skills, IQ..and or the substance misuse that may have ..retarded the ability once there. They are..crippled..and we do not know if it was birth..or later. This is why it takes a village..to raise our children. Not the tv, not blackberrys, nor wii nor shopping malls. He is a sad fruiting of genetics and life experience..gone sour. What will he damage next? Best watch, and report all those situations ..as they become avail., on the community bulletin board..so to speak. In my experience..a person that ill..seldom 'becomes better'..without medical/clinical..interventions. ina n HB n Kesa

I would LOVE to turn him in. Everything in my GUT says to turn him in, but...
My parents live across the street to him, I don't live there, and...
They've asked me not to call the Police.
They're as shocked and outraged as I am, but they know what he's like and he will know it's ME that's turned him and they will pay the price.
Caught between a rock & a hard place...

It didn't involve animals but several years ago there was a problem with one of our neighbors. I reported it anonymously and told the authorities I was doing so because he had threatened others. This guy probably has told the story to many (sounds like he was bragging) and thus he couldn't tell who passed it on. Give it some thought.

You should be able to report him without your name getting involved. Somebody should. If not for the animals, for the fact that he will escalate to people. It's a known fact, and the police should be well aware of it, not to mention that what he did was against the law - surely. Although some idiot here loaned his car to a drunk woman, forgot he tied his dog to the rear bumper, and of course she drug it for five miles to it's death. Would never have stopped but the police pulled her over. Then the idiot owner of the dog refused to press charges. He said he didn't want to ruin her life (as they showed a picture of where the dog had lived - chained to a tree and sleeping in a tipped over garbage can). People sometimes are just plain disgusting.

I offer no excuses for these kinds of people.. It was a clear decision on his part. His soul is asleep...and he has no empathy...humans could be next on his menue..if they have not all ready been......stay clear of him.. make sure he does not get another dog. The next most horrible story I ever heard is of the blind man that got drunk and kicked his seeing eye dog to death....I am still not over that one.

OMG. Sounds like another Pickton in the making. Too bad there is no legal way to "eliminate" him. Maybe he could be committed! Although that's probably too humane.
