I am a first time newfoundland owner. My newfs name is Little Scarlett O'Hara and she is a 6 month old Irish Spot. I am excited to talk to some other newfoundland owners and get advice, share stories, and learn from you all! Scarlett is an amazing puppy and she is very well loved here in Chicago.

The is also a smaller non-NCA Club. the Upper Mid-West Newfoundland Training Club in Northern IL, Southern WI that hosts events during the year.

Thank you for the warm welcomes! Scarlett and I live in the Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago but my mom is in the Northern suburbs and I have lots of family all over IL and Wisconsin, so she is a dog that travels! Of course I am biased but I think she is is a perfect and beautiful newfie. I will be sure to post lots of pictures and maybe even a video. I also would love to learn about any get togethers in the IL/Wisconsin area because I would love for her to play with other newfs.
