Because I can't seem to get past the fact that the rules are in place for some but not others I have CHOSEN to leave NN and place myself under "BANNINATION"
Since only GAD can delete an account and he will refuse to do so when asked I hereby delete myself. It's become all too fluffy and fuzzy anyway. When the advice has to be so PC, it becomes worthless.
Thanks for the fun that USED to be NN. You can keep the rest..

Most forums have rules; most forum members hate the rules and most rebel against any form of rules or authority. Human nature.

Just because a girl has a bit of :devil: in her, and occasionally :neener: a deserving soul to help him/her :lol:, and perhaps throws in the occasional :slap:, doesn't mean she shouldn't feel comfortable here for :shocker: of a :nono:. I agree. Newf Net is such a valuable resource for Newf owners. To have a searchable database of thousands of messages literally at our fingertips is a resource that I am so thankful for.

FaceBook is fun, a great place to joke around, to go for support from friends, to rant and rave, to vent and to say whatever you like, but it is no Newf Net.

I missed most of what has gone down here the last little while, but I know from conversations with you all the general idea of what happened. I think it's a shame that some very knowledgeable Newf people, long time owners/breeders/rescuers have left, or rarely post -- their experience, their knowledge is valuable.

On the other hand, I can't even pretend to know what it is like to try to moderate a forum with so many members. Rules have to be in place, I get it. I do not envy the job of the mods here even one bit.

So Debra, I look forward to your wit on FB, but will miss your input here and I hope that you and the other people who have so much to offer will still drop by every now and then and share some advice or insight when a Newf owner needs it.
