Gunny is having surgery tomorrow

Please keep Gunny is your prayers. Tomorrow he is having a tooth pulled. He broke his back molar off at the gum line. I don't know how he broke it, but he is always chewing on something in the yard. I discovered this Thursday when I went to brush his teeth. The vet feels it must come out. He will also be having his teeth cleaned. I am a mess!!! So keep him in your prayers.

Have you talked to your vet about inhalant anesthesia? It doesn't put them "under" as deep as IV meds and as soon as they stop giving it, it starts to wear off.
When my 11 year old shih tzu had this same procedure (cleaning and extractions) done last year they used inhalant and she bounced back really quick.
Sending prayers for an uneventful procedure for your boy......
