Only a year late! DD finally helped me with an avatar pic, so Sophie and I are no longer invisible. Sophie is 2-3/4, and came to us eleven months ago from her wonderful breeder, who had kept her hoping to show but her conformation didn't measure up as she grew. She is our second Newf, and joined our two human teens, shepherd/beagle mix, house rabbit, African Grey, cockatiel, two guinea pigs and koi pond with grace and aplomb. She is my heart dog -- I never thought anything could help heal the grief of losing our first newfie, but she has been an incredible gift, one I am grateful for every time I look into her eyes. I have learned so much from NN over the past year -- thank you all for your participation in this fabulous forum!
