Jeff, that sounds like a terrific idea. Like Marlis suggested, we could burn to dvd's. It would be nice if we could give them away to every participant, but since this is also a fund raiser, we would have to at least cover the cost plus a nominal percentage to go to Newf-Friends.
:kgo_027: Jeff, would it be possible to get a rough idea of the cost? We don't have a head count yet so I can't give you any numbers.

I'll look into the cost. DVDs are cheap so we'd just need to burn them quickly. My brother, if he's on board, might be able to help us out.

FYI, this documentary idea is only in the earliest of stages (isn't most of this now? LOL). We were just talking very casually about it this weekend and I wanted to get a feel for how comfortable people would be with the idea of somebody with a video camera potentially interviewing people.

I know the holiday season is closing in on all of us, but I thought I would send out a reminder about September 2010 - our first (annual?) Ontario, Canada Newf Net get together. So, everybody who plans to attend, let me know. This will just be for a preliminary head count. The more the merrier!!!

And we are interested in helping if there is something that we can do from a "distance" just let us know.

We're still planning on it! That's one adult male, (Sandy) one adult(ish) Female, (Nessa), and two male newfs - Nanook and Pooka. Pooka is intact, Nanook is neutered. We're still considering our options, between tent, hotel, and (lord help me) an RV. Sandy really, really wants to RV this trip.
