Sorry, no Internet at the hotel. They have to cut the geeks off or we'd all be hunched over our computers :lol:
I lucked out on the way in. There was a guy from the vendor hosting the conference on the same bus and train so I just went with him to the hotel.
It did go well although I was so nervous when I went to speak that my hands were shaking. I found out a couple of hours before I spoke that they were recording it and I had to use one of those clip on mikes and try not to talk too much with my hands
.
I felt like an idiot who was going a thousand miles an hour but everyone said it was really good and well-paced. I got a bunch of questions at the end which I think was a good sign.
So I've done my little bit to give back to the profession.
