Personally, Queenie.....I think the Newfs foiled a black market squeeker transplant ring. The body of the poor stuffy was probably put into the dry ice cooler mistakenly by the stuffy killers as they were out-foxed by the Newfs. The illegally removed sqeeker was forgotten in their haste to depart the premises. The cat looks awfully comfy there and is probably the orchestrator of the whole black market operation.
