I thought it would be fun to see what everyone's music preference is... What do you listen to, to motivate, inspire, escape, calm yourself?

I'm a country music girl with some 50"s good time oldies thrown in like Chubby Checker and Fats Domino...Also the Grateful Dead every now and then with some current pop (thanks to my 11 year old)... But Kid Rock is the TOPS for me!!

Next????

I've been collecting superb kirtan / mantra / bhajan recordings and requiems for over 40 years. Have a huge library of divine esoteric tracks on my iMac - iPhone - iPad. Imported via CDs & cassettes. Heavenly, play all day, and wherever I go.

Using AirTunes to stream songs to 10 powerful speakers throughout house, all at once, raises the roof rafters, gets me high high high! Very inexpensive easy way to get all-house-stereo system, super high quality, with no wires.

Orka and the kittens love this beautiful music. So do the 300+ trees. Put it on 'shuffle' for ever-new variety, have every flavor in Magnificent Mantra playlist, thousands of tracks, amazingly profound musicianship in wide plethora of styles.

AirTunes has become AirPlay and soon one will be able to stream music, videos, photos, apps, anything, all over, to iWhatever, computers, TV, home, on the go, with seamless continuity.

Beyond incredible to have the truly best gorgeous heavenly music man has created always available, totally controllable, such perfect lush full all-enveloping sound that raises vibrations and sends waves of ecstasy throughout.

If you enjoy audio books, see if you can find a podcast of a radio show that airs on CBC called the Vinyl Cafe. Stuart McLean is the guy who does it....it is really funny. He has an amazing voice for radio.
