This all sounds so wonderful. I am in for whatever is needed. Monetary or whatever, I am open and game for it all. I'm just NOT a good story teller LOL so can I just listen LOL

Jeannie, since it's a 12 hr ride for me, I would like to come on Thurs to have a day to unwind. I can help set things up with you guys too. I can also go earlier in the week if you need more help, let me know.

Annie... YES I would certainly love it if GAD and his family could join us. If not for him .. we ya know..

Looking forward to meeting you all!!!! So exciting. :D

This is so Amazing!!! I am so glad this all happening. Count us in for a room at the Greenville Inn. And Jeannie let us know how much and when to start sending you cash for the caterer and the water work seminar and anything else. And yes please, please do a grooming seminar. It will be greatly appreciated.
I am so excited.

Love you guys!

Patti--check you PM

I came up with another fun thing. Why not have newf games like longest drool, most kisses in 15 seconds, bob for eggs and so on. We can do that almost any time.

I am also going to check the price of a huge tent in case of rain. Speaking of rain. All newf netters everywhere you are to start today and pray daily that we have sunny weather that weekend.

Men!! Why do men have to think of the negative. Gary said "Can you imagine all the poop"!! Anyway I think he is excited even though he won't admit it. He is planning to take the week off work.

Jeannie, the idea of a caterer is great. Which day? And and I think we should all bring something the other days to share. I will share grilling duty if we want to grill our own on another day. We have a big portable grill.
Also Jeannie, I'm not sure if I missed this or not but, what days for what events? Oh and the bonfire sounds Awesome, have marsh mellows will travel!
And the BF plays guitar and sings Ha! We'll bring it!

OH and I think we should all come with cups, paper plates, napkins, garbage bags, et al in tow to help Jeannie out or divy it up. What do you think?
And Annie the brown bag raffle sounds great! What do you put in them? Newfie stuff?

And Annnie and Jeannie, maybe we should post a calendar of events once we have all of the details together.

I OH OH OH so want to go, but I have to convince hubby that a 7 1/2 hour drive one way with 3 newfs and a 15 mth old (at that time frame) will not render us insane and divorce pending!!!

Sar, that would be very generous of you. Tell you what, I'll put some Mary Kay gift baskets together that would also be higher ticket items, too. ANd maybe some after the sun care essentials since someone will probably get burned in July...
and when you bring stuff to donate we could say it was for a silent auction or for a brown bag raffel...

maybe we should make t-shirts....newf.net family reunion t's.....

This is sooo exciting. Everyday when I get home from work I can't wait to check my puter to see what else you all have thought of...the workshops for water training, grooming and such sound great! The games sound cool too. The caterer was a wonderful idea! $9 isn't bad! If you post a registration form it will help lots! Kind of reminds me of a family reunion with all the planning. I have helped host 3 of those, and they are LOTS of work. We have asked for money in advance too and people are gracious about sending it. So please Jeannie, delegate responsibilities. I am one, that when invited to a party feel as though I need to contribute. (Just the Martha in me) Please ask me to do a job, so that I can tell Dear Husband that we have to go, :D I have a responsibility I have commited to. Jeannie & Annie, try not to have more than 3 jobs, or else you won't ever want to do it again.
Something I also thought of, along with all that poop, is garbage. Maybe an extra dumpster should be rented too.
Noreene Jake & Angel, (who are scouring the internet for a cheap motorhome...wouldn't that be great? ;) )
Oh yea, I'll put together a basket of Wyoming made products to raffle, Chugwater Chili Seasoning Mix, Chokecherry Jelly, Sagebrush Soup and such...

As Patty mentioned about husbands, I printed all the pages of letters regarding this event, and asked my husband to read them....he hasn't said no.... I think he's kind of thinking it might be fun.
Jeannie, I will start praying for good weather right now, July 24&25, right.

Holy poop! I haven't really checked in on this since the one post i made way at the beginning. I'm getting dreamy eyed reading it all!

I'm going to have to talk to bill and see how interested he is. I just checked mapquest and Jeannie you are 11 hours from here...That's 11 hours with two dogs and two little kids. That means it's more like 16 hours. I'm game of course but we'll see what bill says. Last summer we made a trip to the outer banks, NC (took us 12 hours each way) but that was without dogs. Hmmm...guess who just walked in the door?!

I am so excited at the prospect of meeting all of you and your pooches! :D

So when I asked bill I told him he was either going to say "Hey that's cool!" or "You are definitely on crack!" Right now he thinks I am on crack. this might take a little work.

Since someone graciously said men are poops I will try to redeem the male population.I will donate a cart for auction for the newf rescue. This is about 15 plus hours of work and 140.00 in materials.I hope this gets us men out of the poop house or is that the dog house.Gary
