I am just so concerned about puting her in a crate, on a plane, in the July heat.. i could not do it.. no way....
Hopefully the lottery ticket I bought today is the winner, then there will be no problem.

A webpage would be great. I will contact GAD with the info and we will let you know when it is up and running. I will have to wait until Annie get the registration form done.

As part of the games I though maybe we could do a mini obediece trail. I also talked to a lady today--one of my customers-- and she is getting certified in K-9 CPR. I thought that would be a wonderful thing to add to our agenda. But we have to be careful not to get too much or we will have to add another day to the fun.

I will get with Annie about a sign up sheet for different events. Maybe someone can head up the food, someone for the games, Susan will head the water workshop, I will head the grooming and draft workshops.

I am also going to set up with the Greenville Inn so everyone can just call and get their rooms. If we get enough reserved (15-20) we can get the rooms at the block rate of $50 plus tax.

I would like to get a count of who is planning to attend within the month. I need to get the caterer reserved. How about if you know you will be here or if you think you will come plese email me. jggrosch@woh.rr.com

We'll keep you posted

I've been keeping quiet because I'm afraid I might be on my honeymoon at that time. The exact dates of the honeymoon are not confirmed yet. But I'd so love to be there and meet everyone in person. Whether I end up going or not - I'll send in my $$ for the food/drink and I'll be happy to donate something to raise $$ for rescue. I'm getting green with envy and hoping against hope that I'll be able to make it. I'm going to go forward and plan as if I'll be there.

And just want to thank Jeannie and Gary, and compliment Annie, Susan etc... who have donated their home, time, expertise etc.. to help organize this.

Gwin AKA Dogger--Your PM box is full please empty it if you think about it. I love your idea. I will run it past Annie to see how/if we can pull it off.

Bo'smom, no problem, help would be great. I think Jeannie and Annie may have sign ups for helping out on the web site. We can sign up then. Meanwhile I will check on prices on Monday. The CPR I would love to learn.
The silent auction sounds like it might work out better Annie.

By the way, I'm kinda crafty. So how about this as my contribution for the silent auction or brown bag. Beautifuly Embroidered kitchen towles, with a different Newfie pose(and color) for each day of the week? I'm quite creative so they will be adorable.

The first draft of the registration form is ready! Jeannie the file is huge. I'm going to try and email it from home. If it doesn't work, I'll put it on a CD and send it to you form work tomorrow.

Do you by any chance have FTP?

I have many people question if non-newf dogs are allowed. By all means YES any breed of dog is more than welcome!!

The only things that will not be allowed is alcholic beverages of any kind and glass bottles. Glass bottles can be in the "food" area but not in the dog park area.

Those are easy enough rules to follow Jeannie. No problem.

Oh and Jeannie, You can count me, the BF and the kids in the clean up crew too. Wouldn't want you to have to do it all by yourself when its over. :D We may even be able to stay an extra day for this.

I can't wait, I am so excited. Did I say that already? Well I am soooo excited!!! :D
