I'm sad to say that we had to send Dear, Sweet Smokie to the bridge yesterday. She turned 14 in January. She will be sorely missed.

I have to admit though, I dd not even know you had a newf named Smokie. But I did go back in the archives. She sure was a beautiful girl.

Oh my heart just dropped when I read this. My Smokie!! If I were ever to be a foster failure she would have been the one I'd kept. Godspeed girl. I am sure you were greated by your first forever home owner. He loved you dearly.
to everyone: Smokies' first foreverhome owner passed away causing her to come back into rescue when Guy adopted her. She was the sweetest girl who I had the priviledge to foster twice!
