Our house has ... furniture

Since I finally got around to chasing Troy around the house with his camera, I thought I would give a little photo update of the house (the yard is still unfinished as ever ... but I will update as we finish the last 2 bedrooms and do our landscaping!

Here is our living room (note everything is either wipe-able or washing-machine safe other than the cowhide)

The kitchen, on the other side of the island is an AC vent under the sink where Charlie sleeps all day ...

A quick shot of the bedroom (if you look really close you might see the drool on the bed ... LOL)

The ensuite (Charlie sleeps in here on the tile floor, so I am constantly putting the bath mat back in place)

The guest bedroom (it is usually closed off ... so Mikka the opportunist jumped onto the bed the minute we opened the door)

The second bath which is normally also closed off (I close off extra rooms so they don't have to be cleaned as much ... I am lazy LOL)

I am just amazed at how different it looks to me with all of our stuff in it, it isn't quite "home yet" but once we finish putting up curtains and pictures on the walls it will be awesome ... we are also excited about our landscaping for next summer, we have some big plans!

Thanks for the complements everyone! We are so lucky to have been able to get our house, and now that we are putting the finishing touches in place, it is really starting to feel like "home"

We are starting to get money-spending fatigue, getting engaged, buying a house within 3 months was big, and now we are wedding planning, trying to finish the basement, and then landscaping all within the next 10 months!

Newflove: I think Charlie was eyeing the area towards the cat door when he was in the office - he is always on the lookout for the kitty!

Clcsidi: We still have a bunch of projects left to do ... we have to finish the bedrooms in the lower level, and landscape (thats going to be an expensive project - gulp)

Great job you have done on the house.
There is just one thing missing, more drool & newf tumbleweeds. It looks to clean.

Bar: We are on top of the cleaning because of Troy's pet allergies ... we vacuum about 2X a week, and do "flooger patrol" to clean up the drool about that often as well. I also pick up the tumbleweeds as I see them. That being said, we had just done a big cleanup the day before for our house warming party!
