My Mom & Dad's Border Collie, Misty (Irish Mist), has just been diagnosed with cancer.
She had one of those fatty lumps collie's are known for removed and it was a tumour. Panels showed the cancer is in her blood, as well.
She's 14, so Mom & Dad are just trying to make her last days comfortable before they have to help her to the bridge.
Please spare some good thoughts for them all...

Awww, she's such a sweet looking little girl. Adding Misty to my (recently large) list of prayer intentions. Be well for many days to come, Ms. Irish Mist.

With every breath..Misty has been absorbed-melded..with her 'so loved and cherished' ones...over these 14 years. Those eyes..that intentness...that kind of lovingness..lasts..forever. For now then..gentle cuddling, touches and many, many snuggles, to light her way..Forward. ina n HB n Kesa

Have a very soft spot for collies, my very first was Lassie. Good thoughts and love will hold her close and keep her comfortable on her journey.

14 is to be commended for sure! Sending warm thoughts to you and your family. All of our loved babies who have gone on before us will be waiting for her and will show her all the fun things to do once she's with them. Big hugs to you.
