I as I write this I am sobbing my first Newf Nana has passed on. She was struggling with some mobility issues and I was hoping I was not selfish to hold onto her. She made the choice last night in her favorite spot in the bedroom with her Beary Bear beside her. She was my first Newf and was from Rescue I got her at 5 years old and she was 12 and 1/2 when she went to the Bridge. Even tho I have Bear and Emma my heart is breaking in a million pieces and I know you all know how I feel. She was a wonderful girl who welcomed many foster dogs into out home and taught them the ropes. God must have needed an angel because he got my girl.

Jane, I am so incredibly sorry to hear of Nana's passing. You were the best Mama she could have asked for and I know she returned the love. Please know Raph and I and our gang are thinking of you and sending you and Bob all kinds of strength. I can only imagine how hard this is for you two.
