Well....we can train together at least! The maneuvering courses are a challenge and alot of fun.

The trials are usually in the fall......we could rent a giant RV and haul them all down for a weekend!
Sheila,
I have a giant Rv, but man...can you imagine how that thing would smell when we got there with 13 dogs :roflmao:

I do have a large flat area we can mow however we want to practice on. Maybe let it grow to about 6" than mow a 2" tall course?? Will that work?

That was wonderful! Now I want to try that with Journey. Do you think it would hurt Zeus since he is lame (front left elbow OA)? If pulling something wouldn't hurt him I think he might be more willing to do that than Journey. Love the video!
The vet that did Indy's OCD surgery said that we shouldn't have her doing any work that involving pulling weight. He said that she will more than likely also develop arthritis in her shoulders since she had OCD in both. He also said that we should keep an eye on her weight. Don't know if it would be the same for the front left elbow OA. Maybe you can consult your vet.

Wow, that's what I need. It's even my favorite color! :)

That's why they invented Febreze, Kelly! Wow....the newfs could travel to the trial rock star style...with their groupies (doxies) in tow. Cool.

Pulling puts more strain on the front legs than the back. If Zeus were mine, I'd avoid draft. Swimming would be great for him.

Kelly, I'm sure someone else had mentioned this, but I've not seen it...You've definitely got a yellow theme going in your life. Love it!

Ginny,
Jack loves yellow. We used to have a large car collection and probably 80% of the cars were yellow...all the exact same yellow. The house outside and inside is yellow...except the bedroom. Yellow is too cheery, I need darker and warmer to sleep. I talked him into chocolate :)
When you come down out driveway EVERYTHING matches LOL

We do have a couple black cars, but only because they would look awful yellow

Ginny, you confirmed what I kinda' thought. We've been very cautious with Zeus and we'll continue that theme. No carting or pulling for him. Thanks.
