Well, a million thank yous just doesn't seem enough. Everyone who has told me what they have gone thru puts my mind at ease. My mother has invited 5 family members to come over for dessert tonight and I just couldn't handle that. I had her call them back ad tell them it was just too much. Too much excitement for Kali. When family comes over, she wants, along with my other two, to get scratches and hugs from everyone. I felt that she should just rest. She is my baby and I don't want her to strain herself moreso with added unecessary excitement.
Late last night, about 1am Kali wanted to go out. I was very surprised and completely elated that not only did she do number 1, she also did number 2. Thank you god! I have been praying that God would like the thunderstorms pass over us so i didn't have to take her out in rain. He must have heard me, because it never happened to storm. Agin, thank you. She's taking her pills more easily now. I coat them in peanut butter and I don't have to throw them down, she licks them off my finger willingly. Kali got a brand new stuffed bunny to snuggle with for Easter, and she puts her head on it when shes laying down. She felt up to licking an edible nylabone, and that cheered her up some.
Tuesday or Wednesday I will receive the Big Belly Lift I ordered for her. That seems like the most comfortable and it stays on even if you let go, so I'm happy about that. Someone is sending me a bunch of incontinence bed pads, I shouldhave them by Wednesday, and others have made contributions to the vet to help with the medical expenses. not forgetting all of you that continue to pray for us here, I wanted to let you all know that the kindness you have shown me reaffirms my belief in "good decent people" in the world. If I had a million dollars I would share it with all of you. That's what your actions and words have meant to me.
I will post tomorrow after the surgery and keep you updated.
God Bless you all......for everything!
